Aindham Padai – fiestas for ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres

aindham-padai‘Aindham Padai’ has the typical formulas Director Sundar C with his yesteryear directorial. His protégé Badri who earnestly worked with the same formulas in ‘Veeraappu’ comes up with the same-fangled flick ‘Aindham Padai’. As mentioned by Sundar C, prior to film’s release it isn’t a complete action-packed commercial entertainer. Rather, Badri has penned an interesting family entertainment laced with commercials formulas of action, sentiments, romance, comedy and more.

The film is about relationships between two families where hardships and affections are on the competencies.

It centers on five brothers: Elder one Gunasekaran (Nasser), Karunakaran (Thodanna), Prabhakaran (Sundar C) and couple of younger brothers Dinakaran (Mukesh) and another one (Vivek). As the film moves ahead it unravels about enmity with other family where Devasena (Simran) is a pampered daughter. But Gunasekaran is kind enough in breaking the hardships and getting united by arranging nuptials for Devasena with his brother Karunakaran. However, Devasena mistakes Prabhakaran to be her bridegroom. When things are unraveled and Prabhakaran turns away from Devasena’s offer of marrying him, she vows to alienate him from his family by marrying Karunakaran.

Rest of the film is about the hand-in-hand combat between Prabhakaran and Devasena with each one moving around with their smart plans.

Sundar C does a decent job adhering to the characterization while there’s some sort of over-dosed heroisms in the beginning parts. Director Badri makes it sure that other brothers’ characterizations aren’t just to stand accompanying Sundar C, but everyone have their own delineation. Simran’s grey-shaded characterization of seeking revenge is appreciable while Devayani’s characterization and revealing about her state of nature in the latter half is convincing. Nasser, Thodanna and Mukesh have done justice to their roles. Sampath as the baddie is clichéd with his usual stuffs while Vivek adds to more humor quotients.

When it comes to narration, the first half is quite mediocre with slow moments, But it turns to be more gripping in the second half that keeps the audiences more intact with the fast-moving screenplay.

Musical score by D. Imman isn’t much appealing like his previous score of ‘Masilamani’ and cinematography should’ve been done yet more finely.

‘Aindham Padai’ is sure to make a great opening across ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres while miniscule audiences may term it to be a passable show.

The movie stars with two best friends Udhay (Vinay) and Madhan (Yuva) both are living and enjoying life their own way. Udhaya’s father Rajan Vasudev (Kalabavanmani) is one of the top 50 rich men in the world. Madhan lives with Udhay and Udhaya’s father takes care of all Madhan’s expenses.

One day both meet a pretty collage girl L R Eshwari (Kajol Agarwal) and both of them fall in love with her. Udhaya’s father supports of Madhan’s love with L R Eeswari. Suddenly things begin to happen and Madhan gets killed. Udhay losses all his wealth and Udhay is on the run to save his life. How does Udhaya find out the hidden secrets in his life? And does he sort things out?

Modhi Vilayadu User Review: Modhi Vilaiyaadu is an interesting film with commercial element and right moments that will entertain the audiences. The film has been shot mostly in foreign locations that include Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Finland. Vinay looks cute and charming, Kajol Agarwal looks decent.

Santhanam’s comedy is more enjoyable especially the moments in second half where he imitates Arya in Naan Kadavul, Jai’s Subramaniapuram, Vijayakanth’s Ramana and as a Hollywood actor.

Cinematography and editing are sleek and neat offering a best look. Someone who has watched all the previous films of Saran may really doubt whether he has made this flick.

Kadhal Kadhai – Movie Review

If previous week’s ‘Indira vizha’ was a film of stupidity, Prabhakaranin’s ‘Kadhal Kadhai’ is a film meant for absent-minded sex maniacs who can get gratified with their inner feelings watching this X-rated flick. Velu Prabhakaran had made a strong statement that it will touch the hearts and make the audiences feel with something unique. But we don’t to term this film with ‘Worst’ verdicts. Really looks weird on how come Censor Board officials finally agreed to pass the film for release.

Do you want to know the story of ‘Kadhal Kadhai’? Don’t worry, if you’ve get into the theatres post-intermission, there are no issues, you will find one or the other F***** each other. That’s the main motif of this film. Sorry to use the term and it’s really the hardest thing to ennoble this film than this one.

What Prabhakaran attempts to convey through this film is that one you fall in love and get disappointed with the girl or boy ditching you. Doesn’t worry go ahead! There are more girls and boys. You can satisfy your sexual desires ahead and that’s what called ‘Love’ of contemporary times.

Finally, there is a superb mantra of Prabhakaran who says, If you find a woman walking around the streets with half-naked or almost nude, turn to the other side. Wow! What does he think about himself?

Looks like, even those who worked for the film wouldn’t have watched the film.

Vaigai – Superbly poignant

Bala enacts the role of Sai Kumar, who happens to be a bigwig in a village. Visaka on the pars happens to be the daughter Village’s postman Thalaivasal Vijay. As clichéd, both of them fall in love that is strongly opposed by Bala’s father.

With no options left, Bala elopes with Visaka who are chased by Sai Kumar’s henchmen. They now consume poison and drop in for different trains on opposite direction. However, when Bala’s father saves him from the dangerous situation, the young guy is worried about his sweetheart’s fate.

So, what really happened to Visaka? Is she dead or would he find her love at last forms crux of the story.
Both Bala and Visaka have done spelled good performance on every scene. As Visaka moves around with her friends to school, Bala’s gesture of body language goes so perfectly and indeed Visaka while just watching him by hiding beside walls is yet another embellishment to the film.

On the romantic portions, both of then evoke the passion of real love amongst the youngsters in cinema halls and likewise they’re awesome while consuming poison fearing that she may get killed and he cannot live without her.

Sabesh Murali’s musical score helps more to the film’s enhancement and cinematography offers a pleasant touch.

L.R. Sundarapandi has beautifully made a good script based on real life story. Mark our words! This is one of the best World Cinemas ever made in Tamil Cinema.

Plot:
